Another Great Review

This spring and summer wedding season was a blast. Here is a recent review we received for a wedding.
 

Alex was the DJ for our wedding and did an amazing job! Our bartender, who has been doing weddings for 30+ year, described it as the best music he'd ever heard at a wedding. Provided guidance and professionalism without the cheesy DJ act. Used a mix of vinyl & digital. Couldn't have asked for better!

 

I should add, this couple had great taste in music and they and their guests danced their tails off. It was fun for me too.

Famously, this song was first offered to Aretha Franklin and was turned down. She recorded it later, but it was a bigger hit for Dusty Springfield. Classic Memphis sound with Dusty's sultry vocals, win-win.

Nola legend Dr. John with a little help from the Meters (one of the greatest funk bands of all time). Great classic dance tune.
